It’s release day for Hulderotica #17: A Vixen Loose in Venice, a WLW heist romance!
Returning goddess and thief Eresh is after a relic at a masked gala. But when she encounters her former carabinieri lover, the sparks will fly.
But what kind of a heist story is A Vixen Loose in Venice, you ask? Well, let me put it in Leverage parlance: Eresh (as her alter ego the Fox) is 45% Sophie, 45% Eliot, and 10% Parker.
And with this story out in the world, we’re closing in on the end of this mini-arc, with just one more story after this before everything changes for Marrowmont and its denizens. But before we move toward season one’s endgame, we get to spend a little time with one more of the many romance pairings/groupings of the series.
There’s a Follow Your Favourites blog post coming up in a bit once I’ve got that finished. Said post highlighting the many pairings/groupings in the Hulderotica series and which stories to read to follow those. That will be an updating reference as we go.
But right now, a little bit of housekeeping:
Copies of A Vixen Loose in Venice went out to subscribers this morning, are already available via our website and Itchio, and will be available through Draft2Digital distribution channels over the next couple days.

But the single best thing people can do for the press right now is to grab a Hulderotica subscription.
Itchio freezing out NSFW sales means we’re selling next to nothing there. And also lost out on being in two bundles. We make a fair bit from the latter, and a not negligible amount from regular Itchio sales. So to offset that sheer drop in revenue, we need at least 14 more Hulderotica 2025 subs before year’s end (not counting whatever we pick up during October’s fundraising for 2026 print editions). Picking up a 2025 subscription gets you all 17 stories already released, and the next seven coming out through December.
Wild to be down just seven more before we round out Hulderotica Year One. A lot still to cover, and like said above, the end of this first season is going to leave Marrowmont changed forever.
